Welcome to NonFiction Weddings

When Amy and I got married, we were lucky enough to have a photographer who took the time to understand who we were, and who perfectly captured the vibe of our wedding. We strive to bring this level of personal and artistic commitment to our own work.

When we photograph weddings, we're looking for the visual cues that communicate deep emotion and rarefied energy. Our images tell stories, and we would like to tell yours.

The photographs we make at your wedding will be informed by our background in teaching, anthropology, and social documentary photojournalism. Because we approach this work as visual storytellers, our photos don't just show who was there—they put you right smack in the middle of the action.

You won't see all of your wedding... but Amy and I will. Our photos will tell and re-tell the grand and subtle moments of that day, in a style that is both unique and timeless.
